Our solution is our Outdoor Fitness classes that meet year round and utilize nature’s gym in all terrain, and types of weather to educate, inspire and facilitate meaningful lifestyle changes for all clients and assist them in obtaining their fitness and wellness goals. In small outdoor fitness groups of 4-8 people, you will be challenged at your own level with success. Enjoy the expertise and benefits of personal training added with a great sense of camaraderie.

Where: Metro West and Northshore areas of Boston

When: Year round monthly sessions

What: Varied workouts depending on the time of year including snow shoeing, biking, hiking, walking, and general outdoor fitness training.

Who: Women of all levels and abilities. You don’t have to be in shape, we will get you there at your own pace!

Outdoor Fitness Class

Join us in an energizing, motivating and supportive environment while jumpstarting your day with a total body workout that is perfect for promoting increased fitness and function, and burning calories. By using low impact interval and circuit training we provide you with a total body workout that incorporates a warm-up and cardio based exercises, followed by strength, core, balance and flexibility training. This head to toe workout will challenge your mental acuity, relieve stress, increase coordination, enhance posture, and promote a feeling of well being. All fitness levels are encouraged and welcomed. In addition, there is always variety, which never allows for boredom. Bring your own mat and water. We will supply the toys and fun!

Snowshoeing Classes

Snowshoeing Classes starting the week of January 2, 2012

Get fit and feel fabulous in the winter with our Outdoor Snowshoeing classes. Exercise your way to health and wellness with the fellowship of other women in a fun and active class. You do not need to have snowshoed before. If you can walk and run, you can snowshoe. Burn calories while training in a motivating and supportive environment. Each class includes a variety of abilities, so you will fit in no matter what your fitness level. We will snow shoe through the woods while stopping to do pushups on fences and triceps dips on stonewalls, as well as performing many other body weight exercises. Finish with core and flexibility training. Come with a willing spirit and leave with new friends, feeling refreshed and uplifted.

New Adventure Club

Join our adventure club that meets once a month for ½ a day to revitalize your spirit, challenge your body and rekindle your passions. In this supportive, friendly non-competitive, all female group you will participate in different activities each month which will encourage you to step beyond your current limitations and discover a new sense of empowerment through physical, mindful and fun-filled activities. Reawaken your passions and replenish your body and soul through a diverse monthly program, including but not limited to hiking, snowshoeing, rock climbing, dance, ropes course, biking, kayaking, meditation and yoga while immersing yourself in a variety of landscapes; beaches, mountains, lakes, oceans, woods and fields. Challenge your mind, body and soul while playing, laughing and enjoying the power of exercise in nature.

New Walking/Hiking Fitness

Maximize your fitness results while enjoying a traveling workout full of adventure moving through woods, meadows, hills and beaches and parks. Develop body awareness and mental acuity using the natural surroundings as you bring the mind and body to work together. After a warm up you will walk/shuffle/jog through nature as you stop to do strengthening and flexibility exercises utilizing trees and boulders, do balancing on logs and stones, and perform bodyweight exercises to strengthen your core. By utilizing the surrounding environment you will increase your fitness level through cardiovascular, strength, flexibility, agility and balance training. Join other like-minded women and feel supported and bonded in friendship as you challenge your body and mind.

Biking Classes

Bike your way to wellness, to an increased fitness level, and to the fellowship of new friends. Our biking groups meet for 70 minutes and include 45 minute rides on a variety of quieter roads. We end the biking session with 25 minutes of core strengthening as well as flexibility and balance training. This class is for people with hybrid or mountain bikes. Enjoy the scenic Metrowest and Northshore areas, while exercising with other inspiring and fun women. Finish feeling strong, relaxed and ready to tackle the rest of your day. Seasonal only.
